Mount Sinai Kiddush Cup

The design of this wine cup follows the story of the Children of Israel being compelled to accept the Torah. Moses stands with the Torah on top of the overturned mountain. As Israel was forced to accept the Torah, its descendants are forced to hold the cup in the air and to finish the wine. By holding the cup, one is following the verse: “I held him fast, I would not let him go…”
