Mezuzah Cases

The mezuzah case expresses the Jewish people’s everlasting connection with and commitment to the Almighty as well as people’s relationships to one another. Inscribed on the parchment inserted into the mezuzah are the words of the Shema, the most important prayer in Jewish tradition, typically handwritten by a scribe. The mezuzah is placed on the doorposts of a home to remind one of these prayers as one enters and leaves.
