Silver Hamsa Necklace on Thick Silver Chain Rose Gold Eye
$295.00
While most jewelry is mass produced in factories, each of Sharon Levy’s stunning pieces are handmade by the artist in Israel. In this piece, she decorates the sterling silver hamsa with designs created by oxidizing some of the silver and uses a rectangular piece of rose gold as its eye. The piece can be flipped to show a simple silver hamsa; Sharon’s signature is at the edge. The hamsa, known as the protective hand of the Almighty and said to ward off the evil eye, hangs from a thick dimensional sterling silver chain.

Meet the Artist: Sharon Levy
While most jewelry is mass produced in factories, Sharon's jewelry is made entirely by hand with the wearer in mind. In a time-consuming process, Sharon approaches her work from the perspective that each piece of jewelry she creates is an individual work of art starting with raw materials, precious metals and stones which are eventually transformed into beautiful objects that delight the soul as well as the eye. From handpicking each stone for maximum color and clarity from the gem dealers in Tel-Aviv, to the final polishing, every step is carefully performed. Making custom jewelry is a real treat for Sharon because each piece is different.
