Far Fetched – GreaterGood

For over 30 years Far Fetched has been known for designing fun, creative and heartfelt jewelry, rich in culture and craft. They are committed to using conscientious business practices, and their intention is simple: be a positive influence in our world! Far Fetched is located in Sonoma County, California, where the vineyards meet the coastal redwoods. Their designs are produced by skilled artisans at Cuervo Metal, their sister company, in a cottage industry setting in the same community in Mexico in which they have been located for over 30 years. Each piece of jewelry starts with an emotion, a silly joke, an experience. Each piece has its own story. The designers daydream and doodle new ideas, utilizing a variety of materials and techniques. The artisans, working in small groups of two to three people in home workshops, use a combination of traditional silversmithing techniques and new processes to create each piece. The end result is unique, handmade jewelry. The roots of the Far Fetched designs continue to be about supporting what is positive and uplifting, creating jewelry that will be appreciated and worn for generations. The artisans at Far Fetched believe that their jewelry designs and conscientious business practices reflect their actions and values. They are proud to have been practicing fair trade principles since the inception of Far Fetched, and are now a member of the GreaterGood family.
