This handmade contemporary tzedakah box by Talila Abraham of Metalace is inspired by the intricate patterns of lace fabrics and embroidery and captures the romantic feeling of handcrafted items while using advanced metal process technologies and materials. The geometric pattern on the lid duplicates in larger form the pattern of the box and contains a slot to put your change in; lifts off to take the charity money out. The phrase, in Hebrew, “Love thy neighbor as yourself” adorns the front. Transparent enough to be able to watch your charity amass. Each piece is individually processed and hand-treated for optimal shape and structure, leading to a unique and personal product.
