Handwoven Fair Trade Tallit and Bag – Blue
$195.00
This fair trade tallit and matching bag are hand-woven by Maya artisans in the highlands of Guatemala. The tallit is decorated with diamond shapes that, for the Maya, represents the four corners of the universe as well as the volcanoes of Guatemala. Fringe on the tallis is hand-tied. By purchasing this tallit, you are helping community development happen through the economic development of women, who otherwise have limited ways to participate and contribute to the economic health of their communities. A beautiful mitzvah to inspire and enhance your prayer experience. Matching kippa sold separately.
