Tzuki by Shay Peled

Israeli artist Shay Peled founded Tzuki Art studio in 2006. Peled is a graduate of the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and has worked as an interior designer for more than a decade. In his Tzuki Art collection, Peled demonstrates his approach to art as a tool to make people smile and warm their hearts, to help religion become more meaningful and integrated into the modern life-style. He views life with the eyes of a child – fresh, colorful, vibrant and always positive: today is good and tomorrow will be better. In the field of Judaica art, Tzuki's unusual and groundbreaking approach has brought a touch of freshness to the ancient tradition, making serious religious articles feel more approachable, humorous and endearing. Tzuki has successfully reached across traditional boundaries in the niche of Jewish art and has subsequently been embraced by secular as well as orthodox Jewish communities. Located in Tel Aviv, Tzuki Art supports the local community by providing various non-profit organizations with opportunities to conduct therapeutic work in the studio. Tzuki Studio's original artwork includes a wide range of contemporary Judaica and pop art artifacts. Tzuki's naïve and colorful lines are easily recognizable by their fans around the world. Each handmade piece takes many days of hard work. The multi-stage process begins with sketches, followed by laser cutting of the metals, coating, and ends with the most enjoyable part – hand painting in playful and eccentric colors.
