Dalit Freiman

For many years, Dalit has worked in fabric, creating unique art pieces through the use of appliqué and embroidery. She also uses an original technique which incorporates natural wool, full of color and joy. With a sense of softness and warmth, her designs help to create a homey atmosphere.
Dalit, the daughter of a Judaica artist, is seventh generation in the old city of Jerusalem, and she has always felt at home in the alleys and its ancient stones. From a young age, Dalit experimented with wool fabrics and yarns, sewing, knitting, and embroidering. To her, the softness and color of her materials are a wonderful world without borders.
