Bier Judaica

Bier's silver Judaica is known all over the world for its unique design, wonderful quality, and finish. The Bier story begins in Israel in 1950, when Jizchak Bier graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Art and established a silversmith workshop. There were almost no Jewish silversmiths after the holocaust and Bier filled the demand for silver religious items, winning a special prize for his Chanukah menorah. Today, Jizchak's sons Mordechai and Meir follow in their father’s footsteps and together ensure excellence and craftsmanship, reproducing many of the original designs of Jizchak Bier. Each design always taken into account the beauty of form and comfort of use. Everything at Bier Judaica is handmade, using different silversmithing techniques: metal cutting, bending, metal spinning, lost wax casting, and hammering. A knowledgeable and skillful silversmith can create almost every design that is imaginable using these techniques. Bier classic designs make use of bible verses, original decorative lettering and ornaments related to Jewish customs and folklore. At Bier, they use their hands. They focus on uniqueness and quality, not quantity. They keep Jewish traditions.
