Woman of Valor – Eshet Chayl
$1,100.00
In this vibrant and meaningful work formed by decoupaging hand cut paper, Ketti Camus surrounds a family welcoming the Shabbat with the words from “eshet chayl,” a woman of valor, the poem that a husband traditionally recites to his wife as she welcomes the Shabbat. Many symbols are woven into the literal images: pomegranates, a symbol of blessing and prosperity, the angels who accompany the Shabbat bride – each time one looks, a new image appears.
