Handcrafted in Israel by Iris Braunstein, this pewter mezuzah case features a sunburst design above and below the shin. The piece is accented by Swarovski crystals that frame the shin and and accent the designs, and the entire piece is bordered by hand bead work.

Meet the Artist: Iris Braunstein

Iris Braunstein Shemesh, born in Israel where she resides today, began her career as a textile designer. Inspired by the multicultural society in Israel that enjoys diverse influences, Iris's designs reflect what she experiences, and she continuously searches for new inspiration and cultural influences. Iris's designs incorporate both modern and classical romantic designs. Her products, meticulously handworked, combine silk papers, fabrics, strings, hand painting and more to provide a unique three dimensional look. Her basic designs are created in light weight resin and finished with enamel set with chez crystal stones.
