Metal and Glass Challah Board or Serving Tray

This handmade contemporary challah board by Talila Abraham of Metalace, is inspired by the intricate patterns of lace fabrics and embroidery and captures the romantic feeling of handcrafted items while using advanced metal process technologies and materials. In this design, Talia centers the last words of the blessing over bread in Hebrew – “Hamotzi Lechem Mi’in Ha’eretz” – on an open, organic laser cut. The silver metal design is set between a white metal base and a beveled glass top; sleek handles anchor the board on each side and the entire board is raised from the table by 4 small feet. Each board is individually processed and hand-treated for optimal shape and structure, leading to a unique and personal product.
